Javier Mascherano eyeing a return to Liverpool

Diario Gol has claimed that Javier Mascherano is looking for a return to Liverpool next summer. The 33-year-old has fallen out of favour at the Camp Nou with Ernesto Valverde preferring Samuel Umtiti over him. Mascherano believes that he can play at the highest level for a couple more years and wants to return to Liverpool. Along with the Reds, PSG and a few other MLS clubs are also keeping tabs on the Argentinian defender.
