Juventus preparing a shock swoop for Gary Cahill

The Italian champions are still in the market for a high profile name to replace Leonardo Bonucci. The Sun reports that Juventus think England international, Gary Cahill can be lured to Turin in the final week of the transfer window. Cahill is reportedly valued at around £40 million by the Blues. Meanwhile, if Cahill accepts a move to Juventus then Chelsea are expected to go all out in their chase of Virgil van Dijk.

AC Milan still keeping an eye on Diego Costa

Corriere Dello Sport has claimed that AC Milan are hopeful of luring the estranged Chelsea striker to San Siro before the 1st of September. The Italian giants believe that Costa has limited options to be in contention for a spot in Spain's World Cup squad next summer as he must play this season to warrant a berth.

Costa's agent, Jorge Mendes has also requested the player to join Milan on a season long loan before securing his wish to join Atletico Madrid.
