In an attempt to make a treble of signings worth a £100 million before the transfer deadline, Chelsea have made a new £35 million bid for Arsenal's Alex Oxlade Chamberlain. The Telegraph reports that the 24-year-old is set to meet Arsene Wenger today for showdown talks about his future. He has reportedly made it clear that he will not sign a new deal with the Gunners despite Wenger publicly wishing him to stay. Along with Ox, Chelsea intend to sign Danny Drinkwater and Ross Barkley to hand Antonio Conte his required targets.
Tottenham Hotspur in advanced talks with Keita Balde
Talksport can reveal that the Lazio forward, Keita Balde Diao has stopped training with the first team squad in order to force through a move this month. Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur remain interested but the website can report that only Spurs are willing to match Lazio's valuation of £28 million for the Senegal international. Mauricio Pochettino wants to complete this move swiftly before Juventus decide to match their offer.
