Divock Origi signs for Wolfsburg

After falling down the pecking order at Liverpool, the 21-year-old Belgian forward Divock Origi has joined Wolfsburg on a season long loan deal. The German giants have paid £6 million for the striker's services with Liverpool including an option to call back the striker in January if the situation arises. There is no option for Wolfsburg to sign him permanently with Origi set to return to England after the end of his loan spell.

Bayer Leverkusen nab Panagiotis Retsos

The Bundesliga outfit have signed the highly rated Greek teenager, Panagiotis Retsos from Olympiakos for a massive sum of €22 million. The 19-year-old has signed a five year deal with Leverkusen and chose the Bundesliga side over Lyon and Rennes. On Retsos's acquisition, sporting director Rudi Voller said, "Retsos had offers from some top clubs playing internationally this year, so it is all the more pleasing for us that he has decided to move to Bayer – especially since he was so elemental to Olympiakos qualifying for the Champions League."
