Marco Van Ginkel, Under-21 starlet, admits that he was flatttered by the potential link ups with a Premier League heavy weight such as Chelsea.
He told Dutch paper Algemeen Dagblad: “I am not thinking about it [Chelsea interest] right now, but I am really flattered by their interest.”
The Dutch starlet has been molded into one of Holland’s best prospects and has lived up to his reputation by keeping up a consistently impressive performance so far at the European Under-21 Championship.
Van Ginkel, who has come up through the ranks at the Gelredome youth academy, has not only capped over hundred times for the Vitesse first-team but has also appeared in one international game.
