AS Roma v FC Barcelona - UEFA Champions League Quarter Final Second Leg
FC Barcelona are set to lose one of their integral players

Hello people! Welcome to Sportskeeda's latest transfer news and rumours roundup. Despite the season now entering the business end, top clubs are also keeping their eyes open on potential transfer targets.

And as always, there are stories which make headlines irrespective of the transfer window being open or shut. Despite the transfer market being eerily silent today, we have managed to get a bunch of stories that made headlines on April 9, 2018:

Bundesliga

Ivan Rakitic on Bayern Munich's radar

The Bavarians have reportedly identified Ivan Rakitic as their top summer target. Don Balon has claimed that Bayern Munich will make a €80 million offer for the Croatian midfielder who is concerned about his future with Barcelona.

The signing of Philippe Coutinho and the impending arrival of Arthur and Griezmann has cast a huge doubt on Rakitic's role at the club. He is expected to be tempted by Bayern's offer with a return to Bundesliga on the line.

West Ham eyeing a move for Shinji Kagawa

West Ham United are reportedly mulling over making a £12 million move for Borussia Dortmund's Shinji Kagawa. The Daily Mirror reports that David Moyes is eyeing a reunion with the Japanese international after the duo worked together at Manchester United. The Hammers are eyeing a complete revamp next season with Kagawa now being one of their top targets.
