FC Barcelona identify Samuel Umtiti replacement
Samuel Umtiti has been linked with a move away from Camp Nou with Manchester United ready to activate his €60 million release clause. If the Frenchman decides to leave, Barcelona have identified the man to take over the defensive duties from the centre back.
Sport understands that Sevilla's Clement Lenglet is on Barcelona's radar if Umtiti leaves for greener pastures. The 22-year-old has been one of the finds of the season and has so far been colossal at the back for Sevilla. Also, Lenglet has a €30 million release clause which has attracted the Catalans.
David De Gea to sign a new deal and end Real Madrid's hopes of taking him on board
According to the Sun, David De Gea is ready to reject Real Madrid's advances and commit his future with Manchester United. De Gea is reportedly set to sign a new five year deal with the club which will see him earn £350,000 per week. He will be the club's second-highest earner behind Alexis Sanchez.
Real Madrid may now have to look at the likes of Thibaut Courtois and Alisson Becker as it is believed that De Gea will sign a new deal before the World Cup.
