Manchester United to beat Bayern Munich and Liverpool to Dortmund starlet's signing, Marcus Rashford could leave in the summer: Transfer round-up - 5th February 2018
Hello, people and welcome to Sportskeeda's latest transfer news and rumours roundup. Though the January market is now closed, that will not stop the clubs from looking at potential summer recruitments.
And as always, there are stories which make headlines irrespective of the transfer window being open or shut. On that note, let's take a look at all the top transfer news that made headlines on 3rd February 2018:
Manchester United lining up a move for Christian Pulisic
If the good folks at Sport Bild are to be believed, Manchester United are looking to make a summer move for Borussia Dortmund's Christian Pulisic. The 19-year-old American forward has attracted the attention of a number of high profile clubs, with Liverpool regularly linked with him due to the Jurgen Klopp angle, and Bayern Munich, who reportedly view Pulisic as a direct replacement for Franck Ribery.
But Dortmund would prefer selling him to Manchester United if the Red Devils meet their valuation. According to the German outlet, Pulisic has a market value of €45 million with two years remaining on his contract.
But Dortmund won't sell him below at least twice that amount. Manchester United are also strongly linked with Pulisic because of the club's American owners who are viewing the 19-year-old as the club's face in their native country.
FC Augsburg tell Daniel Opare to find a new club
Fullback Daniel Opare's future has been left out to dry by FC Augsburg. The club has taken back its offer of an extension for the left back whose contract expires in the summer.
Opare, a regular starter for the Bundesliga side, was left out of the matchday squad for Sunday's game against Eintracht Frankfurt. DW reports that Opare was in Leicester on deadline day to force through a move to the Foxes which has irked the German club's management.
