Napoli made a bid for Mauro Icardi in January
Mauro Icardi's future has been up in the air for the past month or so. After Real Madrid's reported interest in the striker, it is now the turn of Napoli to make their interest known in the star forward. Napoli president Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has admitted to AS that his side had made a €55 million offer to Icardi's agent and his wife last month.
The president was quoted as saying, "Icardi will score 40 a season here under Sarri and can become like Cristiano Ronaldo. I tried to negotiate signing him with his wife, who is an attractive and charming woman. I offered 55 million euros. He is a champion. Will they sell to Napoli? Why not? Never say never."
Inter Milan crack deal for Lautaro Martinez
According to Sport Italia (via Football Italia), Inter have agreed upon a fee with Racing Club for the transfer of striker Lautaro Martinez. A €23 million deal has reportedly been reached with the Argentinian club with the 20-year-old set to sign a three-year deal at San Siro.
