Liverpool monitoring Jack Wilshere
Wilshere is currently in talks with Arsenal over a new deal. But the Gunners have offered him an extension with a pay cut with the new deal expected to be based on performances and appearances. The Sun reports that Liverpool are ready to pounce on the midfielder if he rejects Arsenal's offer.
Liverpool are ready to match Wilshere's wages and can guarantee him a starting berth at Anfield with Emre Can set to leave in the summer. Jurgen Klopp is said to be an admirer and is keen on working with the 26-year-old.
Olivier Giroud reveals why he left Arsenal
The French striker has revealed in an interview with Telefoot that the arrival of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and, as per reports from Talksport, the advice from Didier Deschamps (France head coach), led him to leave the Gunners on deadline day.
Giroud has also revealed that apart from the Blues, the striker had offers on the table from Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund and AS Roma. Giroud is set to make his debut tonight against Watford.
