Chelsea eyeing Cristiano Ronaldo if Eden Hazard goes the other way

Real Madrid's interest in Eden Hazard is now a well-known fact. The Spanish giants are set to make a strong approach for the Chelsea talisman in the summer. But the Sun has now claimed that if Hazard does agree to join Real Madrid Chelsea will then demand a certain forward by the name of Cristiano Ronaldo to be included in a sensational swap deal.

Ronaldo is unhappy with life in Madrid with tax allegations, refusal to be awarded a higher wage structure and a below-par season in front of goal making the Portuguese think about a return to England. With Alexis Sanchez now at Manchester United, the Red Devils are not expected to make a move for Ronaldo which further strengthens Chelsea's hopes of landing their biggest ever signing.

Gerard Pique to sign an extension on Monday

The boyhood Barcelona star Gerard Pique is set to sign a new deal with FC Barcelona which will keep him at Camp Nou until 2022. The club has today announced that Pique will sign on the dotted line on Monday which may effectively see him ending his career in the Blaugrana colours. Furthermore, Pique will have a release clause of €500 million included in his new deal.

Top three clubs in the world set to battle it out for Milan Skriniar

Inter's last season's recruit, Milan Skriniar, is attracting interest from a number of high profile sides. Gazzetta Dello Sport understands that FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City have all made enquires for the highly rated centre-back who is set to start a bidding war in the summer.

Milan signed the Slovakian last summer for €23 million but his agent has now revealed that the Nerazzurri are not willing to sell Skriniar for even double that amount. The 22-year-old has been in a brilliant run of form this campaign, playing every minute of league action until now.

Javier Pastore wants a return to Italy

The Argentine midfielder has today confirmed that he is looking for a return to Italy and is ready to snub Premier League interest to start his second stint in Serie A. Pastore played for two years with Palermo before joining PSG in 2011. Inter Milan are said to be the favourites to land him this month.

Metro has quoted Pastore as saying, "I don’t know what will happen and yes there is a lot of talk about Inter Milan but let’s see. If I do leave, I would love to return to Italy since I know that league well.

Stuttgart sack Hannes Wolf

The German side has today announced that it has parted ways with the 36-year-old manager. Wolf guided them to a promotion last season but got his marching orders after yesterday's defeat against Schalke. Stuttgart have lost six of their last seven league games and are just above the relegation zone in 15th place with 20 points which prompted the board to take such a decision.

Jurgen Klopp seems to have finally made amends with the fact that both the goalkeepers at his disposal in Liverpool are average. The German had decided to approach AS Roma over a deal for Alisson Becker which has been reportedly rejected by the Italian giants.

Il Tempo has claimed that which has been further reported by Metro that Liverpool's bid for the Brazilian no.1 has been rejected with Roma looking to keep a hold of their prized custodian until the end of the season. Becker is reportedly open to a move to Liverpool but will cost the Reds £44 million.

Tottenham Hotspur continue talks with PSG over Lucas Moura

The Telegraph understands that Spurs have stepped up their pursuit of the 25-year-old Brazilian winger and are confident of landing Moura in the next 48 hours. A consensus is yet to be reached but all the parties stay committed to making this transfer happen before the deadline day. Moura was left out of the PSG matchday squad for the league match against Montpellier on Saturday.

Neymar has been linked with a world record move to Real Madrid in the summer. But Paris Saint-Germain's chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi has dismissed these claims and has maintained that Neymar is happy at the Parc Des Princes.

Speaking to the press after his side's 4-0 win over Montpellier, Al-Khelaifi said, "There is a link between him (Neymar) and the fans. The link with Real? It makes me laugh when I listen to that. These are rumours. You ask me to answer rumours. Will he be there 100 percent next season? Not 100 percent, at 2000 percent."

Manchester United to rival Manchester City for Fred

After Alexis Sanchez, Shakhtar Donetsk's Fred seems to be the next player who is set to start a transfer battle between the two Mancunian powerhouses. Pep Guardiola is desperate not to miss out on another target to Manchester United and is hence looking to finalize a £50 million move for the defensive midfielder. Meanwhile, the Daily Star reports that United are also monitoring the situation closely.
