Manchester United to sell duo in order to fund January transfer business

According to The Telegraph, Manchester United are ready to sell Eric Bailly and Marcos Rojo in January to land a top defender. Eric Bailly failed to impress this season when he was afforded the chance and Marcos Rojo has the status of a ghost at Old Trafford.

Toby Alderweireld reportedly remains on top of Jose Mourinho's wishlist. The report also adds that Manchester United are not going to axe Alexis Sanchez despite his not delivering at the expected levels.

Manchester United were desperate to sign a centre-back in the summer but the board ended up not backing Mourinho. United have suffered greatly at the back and have conceded 21 goals from 12 games already this season in the Premier League.
