Hazard is currently contracted to Chelsea till 2020. The Blues want the Belgian to extend his stay at Chelsea but he has made it clear that he wants to join Real Madrid.
Chelsea have reportedly slapped a €170 million price tag on Hazard. However, the report also claims that Los Blancos will not be willing to pay that much for a player whose contract expires in a year and a half.
Real Madrid are hoping to use Mateo Kovacic as leverage in any potential deal for Eden Hazard and with several reports claiming that Kovacic wants to stay at Stamford Bridge beyond his loan spell, everything could work out in Real Madrid's favour.
