Nabil Fekir came so close to joining Liverpool that he had given a media interview and was even snapped donning a Liverpool shirt. However, Liverpool pulled out in the 11th hour after receiving a second opinion because of the risk they were running by shelling out in excess of £53 million for a player with an injury concern.
5-year deal offered to Fekir by #Liverpool after they were given permission to talk to him. Fee yet to be agreed with #Lyon but the two clubs are very close. Might be sealed with bonuses and payment methods.

The Lyon president has revealed that Nabil Fekir will leave in the summer. However, the Reds will not come back with a new offer for the Frenchman especially now that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is also ready to get back into business in Jurgen Klopp's midfield.
