Timo Werner is one of the most sought-after young strikers in the Bundesliga right now. The RB Leipzig striker who is also a regular feature for Die Mannschaft will be out of contract at the Bundesliga club in the summer and now we have received confirmation that he will not extend the same.

Werner is on the radar of plenty of top clubs in Europe and Leipzig will now need to brace themselves for a bidding war in the summer. Werner has scored 60 goals from 160 appearances for RB Leipzig.
RB Leipzig's CEO Oliver Mintzlaff confirmed Werner's potential departure by telling Sky Germany that they do not expect him to extend his contract.
He said,
"We want to extend it with him, but he has signalled to us that he would rather not extend."
