Tottenham Hotspur have remained quiet over the last two transfer windows. But it looks like they might surprise us all with a late move for AS Monaco's Youri Tielemans. That's according to The Daily Telegraph, who report that Daniel Levy and co. are looking to hijack Leicester's move for the 21-year-old Belgian international.

The report claims that Daniel Levy is keen on closing the deal and is currently waiting to receive the green signal from manager Mauricio Pochettino. The departure of Mousa Dembele and injury problems have reduced the Spurs squad to the bones and left them exposed.

Midfield is an area that the Lilywhites will desperately want to strengthen and Tielemans is being eyed as a long-term solution. With Leicester City also pursuing the youngster, Pochettino will need to make a decision soon and sign Tielemans up before the transfer window closes in just over 48 hours.

As per Diario Sport, Chelsea are preparing to launch a £58 million bid to sign Ivan Rakitic. The report claims that Chelsea's Premier League rivals Manchester United are also keeping tabs on the Croatian international.

Rakitic had earlier insisted that he wants to stay at the Nou Camp despite multiple reports linking him with a move away from the club. Rakitic's current contract at Barcelona is set to run out in 2021 and the Cules are not intending to offer him a new deal any time soon.

Rakitic said at Mundo Deportivo's annual gala,

"I want to be at Barcelona and, if I can renew my contract, I want to be here for many more years,"
"I am really happy here, everyone knows that, above all the president [Josep Maria Bartomeu]. I don't have anything else to say [about my future]."

Frenkie De Jong's arrival from Ajax on a reported £75 million deal is set to intensify the competition for a midfield spot at Barcelona and with age not on his side, Rakitic's future might lie away from Barceona.

According to Eduardo Inda of Ok Diario, Real Madrid will offer Croatian international Mateo Kovacic to Chelsea in exchange for Eden Hazard. Mateo Kovacic is currently on loan at Chelsea but now Los Blancos are prepared to let Chelsea keep him on a permanent basis if they'll send Eden Hazard the other way.

Eden Hazard has openly flirted with Real Madrid multiple times and very recently said that he cannot rule out a move.

"In my head, sometimes I wake up in the morning and think I want to go. Sometimes I think I want to stay. It is a hard decision. It is my future. I am 27 and I will turn 28 in January.

"It is also when you have a dream and you want to make it happen. It is like I have said a lot of times: if I leave I will be happy, I know if I stay I will be happy."

On this stunning swap deal that's on the horizon, Ok Diario director Eduardo Inda said,

“There is a player who, except for a surprise, will sign for Real Madrid. It's Eden Hazard,”
"Chelsea speaks of 100 million euros.
“Madrid has a player on loan there, who is Kovacic, and wants to include him in the operation and that at most costs him 30 million euros.”

According to Ajansspor, Liverpool have agreed to sign 19-year-old Trabzonspor midfield sensation Abdulkadir Omur.

Jurgen Klopp has left his squad untouched in January so as to not meddle with their rhythm as they continue to top the Premier League table. However, he has also kept an eye on the future and has reportedly agreed a deal with Turkish club Trabzonspor for midfielder Abdulkadir Omur.

Bournemouth and Manchester City were also keeping tabs on the youngster and it looks like the Turkish u-21 international is all set to arrive at Anfield in the summer.

Turkish Football had, earlier this month, quoted Omur talking about how he would like for his club to discuss the interest from Merseyside. As per the report, Omur said,

“Liverpool are a great club, one of the greatest in the world. These offers are something Trabzonspor need to discuss,”
“If the club give the go ahead talks can be held. The clubs interests take precedence. I’ll do whatever is in the clubs best interests.”

The youngster was recently called up to the Turkish senior squad after impressing for Trabzonspor. The Reds see Omur as a long-term replacement for Adam Lallana.

Denis Suarez wants out of Barcelona and the Catalans aren't too keen on hold on to him either. Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for the midfielder. Now it looks like a deal has been finalized.

However, now according to the Mirror, Denis Suarez has reached an agreement with Barcelona by virtue of which he will be loaned out till the end of the season. Mundo Deportivo reports that that the transfer will take place over the next few hours and Helena Condis (via ESPN), reported that a deal has been agreed between Arsenal and Barcelona.

Suarez was set to sign a new deal at Barcelona that will extend to 2021. However, this was seen only as a way to protect their assets and the Cules will remain open to selling him.

The reported loan deal will cost Arsenal £2 million. The Gunners will also have an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season and if Barcelona can tie Suarez to a contract now, then they'll be able to make a good amount of money from the deal.
