In 2017, Barcelona sold Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain for a world-record fee of €222 million and subsequently bought Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool. However, since then, Neymar has failed to find happiness in Paris, while Coutinho has failed to establish a permanent place for himself at the Catalan club.

According to the latest reports from The Sun, Barcelona have reportedly opened discussions with PSG to take Neymar back to Camp Nou. The recently-crowned La Liga champions will reportedly offer the Paris-based club a player plus cash deal, which could see Coutinho being used as a makeweight in the deal.

The report also suggests that World Cup-winning Ousmane Dembele could be another player Barcelona could be willing to offer, should PSG reject the Coutinho offer.

Meanwhile, Neymar has also been linked with a potential move to Real Madrid, which is sure to add fuel to the fire as this particular transfer saga drags on.
