Arsenal on the verge of signing Denis Suarez from Barcelona
Arsenal are in the market to find a replacement for Aaron Ramsey and are now hopeful of signing out-of-favour Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez. Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Unai Emery is close to completing a deal for the 24-year-old.
Denis Suarez has fallen down the pecking order at Barcelona. While Busquets and Rakitic are regular features in the starting XI, the arrival of Arthur and Arturo Vidal in the summer has further intensified the competition for a starting berth.
Sport further adds that the Gunners are set to close a deal for £8.5 million. Unai Emery and Suarez have worked together in the past at Sevilla and is hence hopeful of persuading the Spaniard to come to North London.
