After being cast out of Manchester United, it would be fair to say that not a great number of people expected Wilfried Zaha to grow into one of the most promising stars in the Premier League.

However, after joining Crystal Palace, that's exactly what happened to Wilfried Zaha. Now he has become their most important player and the Eagles are desperately hoping that 26-year-old will kick on at Selhurst Park beyond the summer.

Andros Townsend, yet another one of Crystal Palace's shining lights over the past few seasons chimed in on the issue and revealed that even he hopes Zaha will continue at Palace.

Townsend said,

"We're lucky to have him at Palace and hopefully we can keep him for a little bit longer,"
"The players, the manager, the staff, the fans all love Wilf and all want him to stay. He's a top-class player and, without doubt, the most naturally talented player I've ever played with.
"If you see some of the stuff he does in training on a day-to-day basis, it's incredible. But if that day does come this summer, next summer or the summer after where he feels like he has to move on, we'll give him our best wishes."

Arsenal are reportedly interested in Zaha and are expected to table a bid for him in the summer.

Sporting Lisbon's Bruno Fernandes has been an absolute revelation this season, scoring 28 goals and providing 17 assists and being the standout player for the Portuguese outfit. And with Ander Herrera set to depart in the summer, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had earmarked Fernandes as a successor to the Spaniard.

However, now it looks like Manchester United will lose him to their bitter cross-city rivals Manchester City. Latest reports are claiming that City are in advanced talks with the 24-year-old and are confident of wrapping up the deal quite soon.

Manchester United were hoping that Bruno Fernandes would choose Old Trafford over the Etihad as he stands the chance to walk into the first team and the case would be very different at City where there is a surplus of midfielders.

Lorenzo Insigne has undoubtedly been one of Napoli's stars over the past few years. Insigne's contract situation continues to be unresolved and the current one by which he is tied to the club will run out only in 3 years. However, recent comments from Insigne suggest that he is looking to get a new deal as he said that an offer could come for him which 'he can't refuse'.

Insigne has been plying his trade at Napoli since he was 15 years of age and has now come out and revealed that he intends on committing his future to the club. Asked about a potential contract renewal, Insigne said,

"Renewal? I'm waiting for the president,"
"For my part there's maximum availability. We both want to move forward together. I hope that the signing of the contract will come soon.
"It was important to be clear about going ahead together. There has been misunderstanding but now there is the desire to continue united."

Liverpool continue to be linked with the 27-year-old despite Jurgen Klopp saying that they won't try to sign Insigne as he has a long-term contract at Napoli.

Mohamed Salah was surprisingly linked with an exit last week and even though those rumours seem to have blown over, the latest revelation in the Spanish media will send shivers down the spine of Liverpool supporters.

It is being claimed in the Spanish media that Mohamed Salah has told Lionel Messi that he wants to play with him at Barcelona. Salah is growing increasingly frustrated at the lack of trophies at Liverpool. Though they are technically still in the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League, they face the mammoth task of upending a 3 goal advantage that Barcelona possess by virtue of their exploits in the first leg.

Barcelona are looking for more attacking options as Ousmane Dembele continues to impress only sporadically. Salah wants to fill the gap and believes that the move will give him the right kind of boost to his career.

Ronaldo enjoys playing with the duo and given the circumstances, these are players who will certainly be available in the summer transfer window.

In addition to these two world-class athletes, Ronaldo wants Juventus to push for the signing of top Barcelona target Matthijs De Ligt and Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba. Pogba and De Ligt are being heavily linked with top clubs across Europe.
