Florentino Perez is on a mission and is taking absolutely no prisoners this summer. Right after closing the deal to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea, it looks like the Real Madrid president has gone ahead and wrapped up a deal for one of the Premier League's best midfielders, Christian Eriksen.

Real Madrid were widely tipped to sign a top-quality central midfielder in the summer and Manchester United's Paul Pogba and Tottenham Hotspur's Christian Eriksen were the most prominent names that were being linked with them. The report claims that Los Blancos have reached an agreement with the player's agent.

Real Madrid will pay Eriksen €4 million more than what he currently earns at Tottenham as wages. The fact that Manchester United are not keen on reducing Pogba's price forced Perez to look elsewhere and now they have to come to an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur who want €113 million for the Danish international.

It goes without saying that the Dane's arrival will make way for some departures at Real Madrid with Gareth Bale, Isco Alarcon, Marco Asensio and Mariano Diaz all expected to be offloaded over the course of the next couple of months.
