A lot has been said about Wayne Rooney and his dissatisfaction with Manchester United.

Rumours have it that Rooney has handed in a transfer request with Manchester United which was rejected.

Chelsea’s Roman Abramovich has already started putting up bids for the England striker.

Abramovich seems to be determined on getting his man. He is ready to pay a whopping amount of £30m and match his payment of £250,000-per-week at United. He is sure that with the money that they are ready to provide, no other club can outdo his intention of having Rooney. Amongst all this, United have been persistent on their decision that Rooney will not be sold off to any other club.

A source has told Sunday Mirror Sport,

“Chelsea want to make sure that if Wayne leaves United, there is only one place he will go. They are prepared to spend, big, big money on Rooney and they have told United that. Mourinho would love to manage Rooney. He thinks he can get him back to his best and use him in a similar way to how Didier Drogba operated for Chelsea.”

Chelsea has informed United about the fact that they are ready to pay any big amount on Rooney.

Whether Rooney’s transfer is just a rumour or if there is some truth to this matter will be revealed after the talks between the player and United.
