Twitter erupts as Barcelona win the La Liga

Lionel Messi led Barcelona were crowned La Liga champions for the 25th time after beating Deportivo La Coruña 4-2. While Barcelona was celebrating their title win, it was heartbreak for Deportivo La Coruña as they were relegated.

Coutinho gave Barcelona the lead with a brilliant shot from inside the box after just seven minutes and Messi doubled with a sublime volley. The home team pulled one back when Perez found enough space to eke out a goal.

During the second half, Deportiva attacked and Barcelona's poor defence was the main reason for the second goal. Borges was free and he assisted Colak with a pinpoint pass.

After that, it was Lionel Messi show all the way until the end as his twin strike helped Barcelona to win 4-2. Notably, it was Messi's 46th hattrick of his career.
