An emphatic second-half display from Manchester City saw them cross the 70-point threshold in the Premier League standings as they beat Leicester City 5-1 on Saturday. Sergio Aguero was at his supreme best as his four goals, all coming in the second half, helped City to a rather comfortable win after it was all square at 1-1 with everything to play for at the end of the first half.City now sit 16 points clear at the top of the table, however, second-placed Manchester United can cut that deficit back to 13 today. Leicester City, on the other hand, had a bright start to 2018, but have now gone five games without a win, and remain 1 point behind Burnley in 7th for a possible place in the Europa League next season.Twitter reacted to this extraordinary performance by Aguero and his team, and here are some of the best tweets:He is unbelievable @DeBruyneKev @ManCity #ManCity #yourgoalsir #MCILEI pic.twitter.com/GPxtKxoxVz— FC St Pauli Belgium (@FCSP_Belgium) February 10, 2018Ridiculous to think #Aguero has never been in the #PL team of the season. Never...— Matt Smith (@msmith850) February 10, 2018Sergio Aguero is competing with Salah and Kane for the golden boot with far less minutes, while having his starting spot given to Jesus, not adapting to the new system, and being finished.
