Barcelona beat Lyon 5-1 in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 at the Camp Nou. For Barcelona, the goals were scored by Lionel Messi, Phillipe Coutinho, Gerard Pique and Ousmane Dembele. Messi scored 2 and assisted 2 in a match-winning performance and Twitter couldn't stop praising the Argentine genius.In the first half, Barcelona were dominating the match in terms of possession and they created some very good chances with Lionel Messi coming the closest to scoring. Around the 16th minute, Luis Suarez was brought down by Jason Denayer in the box and the penalty was given.Up stepped Messi and put Barcelona 1-0 in front. Minutes after that, Phillipe Coutinho scored after Suarez found him with a brilliant touch. Lyon created some chances, but they seemed to lack that final touch. The first half ended with Barcelona in prime position.The second half in the same pattern with Barcelona having much of the ball. But, Lucas Tousart brought Lyon back in the game with a scrappy goal after the ball was pinballing in the box. Around the 78th minute, Messi decided to go on one of his mazy runs and scored a sublime goal.The fourth goal was scored by Gerard Pique after Messi found him with a brilliant run, and a delightful assist. Messi was looking in great touch at the Camp Nou and he was looking for more. Messi again went on one of his typical runs before sliding it to Ousmane Dembele, who made it 5-1 on the day.Barcelona then held on to their lead and qualified for the quarter finals of the Champions League.
