Twitter reacts as Chelsea shutout Salah and Liverpool

Chelsea v Liverpool - Premier League
Giroud's goal was enough to secure the three points

Chelsea beat Liverpool 1-0 at Stamford Bridge to edge closer to fourth-place Tottenham Hotspur. Olivier Giroud's header put Chelsea in front following the half hour in the 32nd minute.

It was an excellent defensive display by the Chelsea backline against the Reds fab three, especially keeping PFA Player of the Year Mohamed Salah quiet the entire game as the Egyptian had only a single attempt on goal and was dispossessed thrice.

The win moves Antonio Conte's side to 69 points, two points behind Tottenham and if they were to win on Wednesday night against Huddersfield Town at home, the Blues would go level on 72 points with Liverpool as the race for the top four will most likely head into the final game of the season with three teams battling it out for Champions League places.
