Twitter explodes as Manchester City beat Manchester United 2-1 

Manchester United vs Manchester City - the second derby in the Premier League of the day - ended 1-2 with Pep Guardiola's side coming out on the top.

The City players enjoyed the majority of the possession, but it was not until the dying minutes of the first half, that David Silva gave City the much-deserved win. The Reds responded quickly with Marcus Rashford equalising in the extra time of the 1st half.

Nicolas Otamendi restored City's lead 10 minutes into the 2nd half and City are now 11 points ahead of second-placed Manchester United in the Premier League.

As always, Twitter was buzzing throughout the game, with Romelu Lukaku being the centre of attention.
