Chelsea beat Manchester United 1-0 in the Premier League on Sunday as Antonio Conte got one over former Blues boss Jose Mourinho yet again at Stamford Bridge. The result sees the London side now one point behind United in the table.

Alvaro Morata scored the only goal of the game to end a personal goalscoring drought (it was his first goal since the end of September).

Here's how Twitter reacted to the game.

The first half saw some feisty challenges with play being stopped a number of times for some cynical fouls.

The rivalry wasn't just restricted to the pitch, however.

Phil Jones ended up putting the ball in the back of the net for Chelsea but the referee was of the opinion that Alvaro Morata had pushed him before he scored a spectacular own goal.

Alvaro Morata then scored with a terrific header to give Chelsea the lead early in the second half thanks to a lovely cross from Cesar Azpilicueta.

That's when Mourinho called the cavalry to rescue the Red Devils; especially a substitution by the name of Marouane Fellaini.

But United truly were dire at Stamford Bridge - a ground where they have rarely played well in the Premier League. Of course, there was plenty of praise for Chelsea too after they put on a fine show at home against Mourinho's side yet again.
