It wasn’t the most ideal of results, but it was enough for Chelsea to secure their first ever Premier League title since 2010. With a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace, Chelsea have been crowned the Premier League title with a goal from none other than Eden Hazard, the Blues’ most crucial player this season.

Hazard’s initial attempt at goal from the penalty spot was saved by keeper Julian Speroni, but the Belgium winger was successful in putting it into the net from the rebound with a header.

Congratulations are in order for Mourinho and his men, and why shouldn’t they be? Chelsea have without a doubt the best team in the league this season, having won 25 of their matches, drawing 8 and losing just twice. With 83 points in their hand, the Blues are currently 16 points ahead of second placed Manchester City which should be a reflection of their dominance in the league in itself.
