Twitter goes wild after Lionel Messi rescues Barcelona again

Lionel Messi's late heroics were on show yet again, as Barcelona equalled a club record unbeaten run in beating 2-1 against Deportivo Alaves at the Camp Nou. The Blaugrana extended their lead atop the La Liga table to 21 points.

However, Barca were set for a shock as John Guidetti opened the scoring for Alaves in the 23rd minute and held out until the 72nd, when Luis Suarez equalized. Up popped Lionel Messi at the death, scoring a free-kick in the 84th minute to earn Barcelona their victory.
