Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp showed their dominance in the Merseyside derby once again as a vibrant performance from the Reds saw them ease to a 3-1 victory over arch-rivals Everton.
Sadio Mane opened the scoring with a brilliant solo effort before Everton debutant Matthew Pennington equalised through a corner and gave the toffees some hope. However, Coutinho just 177 seconds later scored a brilliant goal before Origi sealed the win in the second half with a fine finish.
