Manchester United beat Sunderland 3-0 in the Premier League in what was more than just a routine win for the Red Devils. Having not won at the Stadium of Light in their past three visits in the league, the pressure was on them as Jose Mourinho’s side looked to get back in the top four.

However, David Moyes’ side didn’t turn up and losing Sebastian Larsson to a red card in the 44^th minute for a rash tackle on Ander Herrera saw United seal all three points. Goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Marcus Rashford saw United temporarily move up to fifth until Arsenal play their game in hand on Monday night.
