Manchester United’s new manager Jose Mourinho faced the press today for the first time in his Old Trafford role. Predictably the former Chelsea boss served up a feast, with plenty of quotes that took aim at Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, while also defending his record with youth.
Whatever you think of Mourinho, he generates plenty of headlines and Twitter went wild in it’s reaction to the Portuguese manager.
Mourinho took aim at Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, saying “There are some managers who last won a title 10 years ago. Some of them the last time they won a title was never. I last won a title last year.”
There were plenty of Twitterrati who were happy to take their digs at Mourinho as well
Plenty of journalists also took issue with Mourinho claiming to have developed ‘49’ players.
