German superstar Bastian Schweinsteiger made a return to Manchester United’s training session at the Carrington complex ahead of the Red Devil’s game against Fenerbahce in the UEFA Europa league. The former Bayern Munich star was a regular for Louis van Gaal‘s side, but has been frozen out under Jose Mourinho.
Schweinsteiger has watched from the sidelines, not even playing a single minute for Mourinho in the Premier League, and was previously made to train with the reserves, a move that infuriated many Manchester United fans. However, there was a nice surprise in store for Red Devil fans, as Schweinsteiger and Phil Jones were both involved in the first team’s training session.
