In a recent post on social media, Vincent Kompany announced he will part ways with Manchester City, following a successful 11-year stay at the club.In the first part of an open letter to fans, the Belgian thanked everyone associated with the club for making his career a memorable one in England.The Big captain won 10 titles with the Citizens and played a vital part in their transformation from being a mid-table Premier League side to a respected club globally. Signed from Hamburg in 2008, Vincent Kompany is one of the very few current crop of City players to have witnessed the incredible journey of Manchester City.The FA Cup triumph against Watford will end up as his last game for City, and the impressive long-range strike against Leicester, his last goal for the club.In the second part of the letter, he revealed that his boyhood club, Anderlecht, would be his next destination.
