SPANISH FOOTBALL is certainly in a historical “Golden Age”. TheSPANISH U-19 NATIONAL TEAM has won 2 – 3 against the CZECH REP in the Final of the European Championship to grab the EURO U-19 Title. No country has ever won both the European U- 21 & U-19 titles, but lets not forget about the female U-17 team which proclaimed themselves yesterday as Euro Champs. This, plus the senior team the current FIFA World Champions & the U-20 Team currently attempting to notch the World title in Colombia, makes everything incredible, almost unbelievable, magical & a honest reward for some real hard work by the Spanish Football professionals. It also happens to be the 5th time Spain had won the U-19 title and so will retain the cup.

There are some exceptionally talented youngsters in this U-19 squad. Real Madrid player Morata was awarded the “Golden Boot” of the tournament with his 6 goals. Valencia CF forward ALCACER – who scored twice today – is a class act, along with FC Barcelona winger DEULOFEU, the extraordinary Real Sociedad player RUBEN PRADO, the new Getafe player and Spanish Captain SARABIA and the list goes on.
The match was deservingly won by Spain, who were the better team and controlled the game, creating chances on multiple occasions. But the Spain were denied to extend their scoreline, thanks to a good Czech goalie Koubek. The Czech team however deserve some acclaim for playing in counter-attack mode, in which , the 52nd min by KREJEL and in extra time by LACHA scored.
The greatest achievement of this U-19 Spain is that they came from behind twice and never gave up. In the 84th min AURTENETXE equalized to bring on extra-time to keep Spain alive. Then ALCACER scored two brilliantly executed goals in the 107th & 115th min to give them the win.
