UEFA Champions League 2011-12 Group Stage Draws Declared

The UEFA Champions League draws for the 2011-12 season have been declared and defending Champions Barcelona have been grouped with AC Milan, FC Bate Borisov and Victoria Pilsen.

The teams were picked from 4 pots. One team from each pot was selected for a group. No two teams of same federation could be in same group. The pots contained:

POT 1: Man Utd, Barcelona, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Porto, Inter Milan

POT 2: AC Milan, Lyon, Shakthar Donestk, Valencia, Benfica, Villareal, CSKA Moscow, Marseille

POT 3: Zenit, Ajax, Leverkusen, Olympiakos, Lille, Basle, Bate Borisov, Manchester City

POT 4: Borussia Dortmund, APOEL, Napoli, Dinamo Zagreb, Genk, Viktoria Pilsen, Otelui Galati, Trabzonspor

First the teams from Pot 1 were divided into 8 different groups. Then the teams from Pot 2 and so far.
