The Red Devils are placed in Group H alongside Juventus, Valencia and Young Boys. The Manchester club has won 2 matches, lost one and one match ended on equal terms. During matchday 4, Manchester United got a surprising victory over Juventus.

The Red Devils defeated the Bianconeri by 2-1. Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scores for Juventus in the 65th minute. However, the Juventus party was ruined by late goals from Juan Mata and an own goal by Alex Sandro.

How they can qualify for the next round

In order to qualify for the knock out stages of the UEFA Champions League, Manchester United needs to win both the remaining fixtures against Valencia and Young boys. Young Boys is out of the competition and could not qualify for the knock out rounds. So, the fight is between Juventus, Valencia and Manchester United.

1) If Juventus wins/ draws against Valencia then Manchester United need to win against Young boys to qualify.

2) If Valencia wins against Juventus then United needs to win against Young Boys and grab at least a point against Valencia.
