Slavia Prague came to the Camp Nou as massive underdogs but the reigning Czech champions took the game to Barcelona. Although Barcelona dominated proceedings after the interval, Slavia were the better team in the opening exchanges but failed to capitalize on their early momentum.
The away side managed to outplay the Spanish champions on a handful occasions but their indecisiveness in the final third came back to haunt them.
