#2 Serge Gnabry

Serge Gnabry has been one of the breakout players in the world over the last one year. He is totally unrecognizable from the youngster who struggled to make a name for himself at Arsenal.

So far this season, the 24-year-old has scored nine goals from 17 matches for Bayern Munich, with four of those coming in the Champions League. He continued his good run of form in what was another unplayable display against Tottenham.

Gnabry would have given Arsenal fans sweet dreams when he put four past a hapless Spurs side in a 7-2 victory in the first-leg, but there was to be no repeat performance at the second time of asking.

Although he did not get on the scoresheet, Gnabry had a hand in every meaningful attack mounted by the Germans. Every time he touched the ball, there was an impending sense that something magical was about to happen.

It was his deflected cross from the right wing that was converted by Kingsley Coman for the opener. He also hit the post, with the rebound being shockingly missed by Thiago Alcantara.

In total Gnabry had four shots with one hitting the target, while he also played one key pass and completed two dribbles.

#1 Philippe Coutinho

Philippe Coutinho is attempting to get his career back on track after the horror show that was his 18-month spell at Barcelona, and the Brazilian international is so far on course to achieve this in Germany.

Having appeared in all six of Bayern Munich's group stage fixtures, the former Liverpool man forced Paulo Gazzaniga to tip a long-range effort onto the post in the first-half. But the 27-year-old was not to be denied and he opened his continental account for the Bavarians when he converted in the 65th minute with a trademark curler into the bottom-right corner.

Coutinho had a game-high seven shots with five of those being on target, while he also made one key pass and completed five dribbles.
