United to move in for Ozil?

In what could be a sensational transfer coup, Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been alerted to the possibility that Real Madrid’s German playmaker Mesut Ozil may be available at the end of the season, reports The Sun.

Ozil has seen limited first team action at Real Madrid since the arrival of Crotian midfielder Luka Modric and sources say he is unhappy with the development.

One may recall that Ozil chose Real Madrid over Manchester United after having a great World Cup campaign with Germany in 2010 where he caught many an eye.

It is understood that Manchester may have the financial muscle to get Ozil since they have money left after losing out on big money targets Lucas Moura and Eden Hazard to PSG and Chelsea respectively.

Ozil has also been linked recently with United’s fierce  local rivals Manchester City.
