Manchester United outcast Victor Valdes will leave the club in January, according to player’s agent Gines Carvajal. The 33-year old goalkeeper has been left out of the team since his bust-up with Louis Van Gaal.

The 33-year-old goalkeeper joined the Red Devils in 2014 on an 18-month deal in January after leaving Barcelona. But ever since his arrival, he has slid down the pecking order with David De Gea, Sergio Romero and Sam Johnstone all ahead of him in manager Louis van Gaal’s plans. The Spaniard who has won numerous accolades with Barcelona, only played twice for the Red Devils.

When asked about Victor's future, Gines Carvajal told Radio Marca: "He'll have a chance in January, wherever he goes." He added: "Victor won't be coming to Spain, unless he decides otherwise. He needs to go to a place he feels is right for him."

The Spaniard was set to leave the club in the summer transfer window. According to reports by Mirror, Manchester United blocked a move to arch rivals Liverpool. Then his proposed move to Besiktas also fell apart and as a result Valdes was left with nowhere to go.

LVG only made things difficult for the goalkeeper. Initially, he moved the goalkeeper’s belongings from the senior team dressing room. But now, he is now made to train alone, not even with the U-21 side. It is made sure that his training timings should not coincide with any other player. If the squad training in the morning, Valdés is told to come in during the afternoon, or vice versa.

He was also snubbed from the team photograph, the youngster Sam Johnstone taking his place instead.

With Valdes not planning to go to Spain, he might just get an opportunity to continue his career in the Premier League. Newcastle’s goalkeeper Tim Krul was ruled out for the rest of the 2015/16 Premier League season with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, a statement on Newcastle’s official website said. So, if Valdes decides to stay in the Premier League, then Newcastle is a viable option.

Marca reported as well that Valdes is considering Newcastle as a potential club to continue his playing career with. During a 12-year spell at Barcelona between 2002 and 2014 he won six league titles, the Champions League three times and the Spanish Cup twice.
