Valencia defeated Real Madrid 2-1 on Sunday at the Estadio de Mestalla, thanks to goals from Barragan and Nicolas Otamendi. That win also brought to an end Los Blancos’ 22 match winning streak, but despite that loss, they maintain their top spot in the La Liga standings, with 39 points from 16 games and will next take on Espanyol at home on Saturday.
The Valencia players, not only displayed good goal scoring skills in the match but also showed that they can be as good during practice as well. Alvaro Negredo, who is currently on loan at the club from Premier League champions Manchester City, scored an unbelievable goal during a training session before the game.
The 29-year-old Spaniard fired a shot from behind the goal and somehow managed to land the ball into the far corner of the goal. After realising that the ball had gone in, Negredo celebrated the 30-yard strike.
The striker has played 5 games for Valencia so far this season but is yet to score a goal for his new club.
