FC Bayern München’s Javi Martinez, Rafinha, Dante and Thomas Müller recently joined forces with FC Bayern’s basketball stars to prove why they were crowned champions of Europe and the world.
The quartet, who all helped FC Bayern win the Champions League last year, went up against FC Bayern München Basketball giants Lucca Staiger, Deon Thompson and Bryce Taylor in a series of basketball-meets-football challenges and more than held their own!
FC Bayern are the fourth club to take on bwin’s ‘Skills Series’ which has already featured Real Madrid, Juventus and Manchester United. The series encompasses a unique set of challenges that has taken some of Europe’s best players outside of their comfort zones to show-off some extraordinary athletic and technical abilities.
Still to come in the series are challenges for Olympique de Marseille and RSC Anderlecht.
