In case you didn’t know…

Ronaldo turned 34 on Tuesday, February 5, 2018 and his birthday was celebrated across the world by fans and football lovers alike.

One of the eye-catching goodwill messages was from Juventus, who posted a video of the Portuguese’s journey from Madeira to Turin.

But on a personal level, Ronaldo decided to mark the day by spending time with with his family – his girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez and his children.

The 34-year-old currently has four kids, namely Alana Martina, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., Eva Maria and Mateo.

The heart of the matter

Rather than going for an outing, Ronaldo decided to play football with his youngest son, Mateo. A video posted on Instagram by his girlfriend showed the Portuguese teaching his one-year-old son some football skills.

In the video, Ronaldo constantly passes the ball to Mateo, allowing him to also show off his shooting skills, while his father happily exclaims “Goal!” at every kick.

Ronaldo is regarded as one of the greatest footballers in the world, having won the Ballon d’Or five times. And it appears that the Portuguese’s sons are already planning to follow in his footsteps. Currently, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. is enrolled in the Juventus youth academy.

What’s next?

At 34, Ronaldo has achieved a lot for himself and can only reflect on the good memories of his career. However, the former Real Madrid and Manchester United star is still hungry for more success at Juventus.

With the Italian side keen on winning the Champions League, there is no doubt that Ronaldo also wants to help the club end their European drought. In the immediate future, he may just be eyeing the Serie A top-scorer award, as well as helping the Bianconeri wrap up the league title once again.
