Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure

“We know it is not easy. I hope this year is going to be fine because some of the great players come to (Manchester) United to Arsenal or Liverpool. But I think this year is going to be exciting, very exciting for the Premier League. I think the Premier League is one of the top leagues in the world and I think this year is going to be amazing.”

“I always want to do well for my country and for my club. Because I am a professional I always want to win. My desire is to always get something every year. Last year was quite difficult but I hope – Inshallah (God willing) – we will get something this year.”

Manchester City midfielder Jack Rodwell

“Well last season I had quite a lot of injuries so my main aim is to stay fit which is hard work for me. I need to do a lot of work to keep fit and, hopefully, cement a place in the starting eleven. Obviously the Brazil World Cup is at the end of the season so that is obviously in the back of my mind. I’ve got to be playing every week, really.”

Q: What are you hoping from tomorrow’s match?A: “Just, you know, to go out in style. Obviously, like I said it’s a special day tomorrow so, hopefully we will give the fans something to cheer about.”
