Video: Manuel Neuer plays as a striker and scores a goal

When people said Manuel Neuer could play as an outfield player, considering he was almost a defender during the World Cup, you might have laughed it off.

But he can score a goal if he really wants to. It’s weird seeing a player wearing the #1 jersey all they way up the pitch. And here, Neuer latches on to a loose ball, heads it goalward, makes a run, almost trips and falls, regains his balance and finally scores past the goalkeeper.

But that’s a really long time to break a goal drought!
