Mats Hummels shows off his goalkeeping skills with a brilliant double save in training

Borussia Dortmund captain Mats Hummels has shown that he is a defender par excellence, and recently, he showed that he can be a very good goalkeeper too.

The centre-back was playing in goal during training, and from the looks of it, he seems ready to challenge starting goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller for the position, that's how good he was!

Hummels brilliantly saved his teammate and striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s shot from about 20 yards out onto the post, and then was alert enough and athletic enough to get up and push the rebound wide.

Always known for his versatility, the German is now taking his skills to an altogether different level. He is also known for his composure on the ball, and the ability to bring the ball out of defence with flamboyance and grace.
