“Listen we have positive feelings because some big players left but some equally big players have come in. These players have won trophies elsewhere and can bring a winning mentality to the club. This will allow us to produce a Napoli side at the top level. As I’ve said before we’re trying to do everything the coach asks us. We’re very ready for the season – there’s no doubt about it.”

“Obviously I know the situation and I was surprised because we were trying to sign Julio Cesar, it was a surprise when Pepe Reina was available. For us it was a big boost. Really important because he’s a great player so really pleased with that. I think?he has a lot of respect for the club (Liverpool) and I was talking to him about that. He was surprised with the decision. He was surprised because nobody told him but still he has a very good relationship with the fans and with the club so I don’ think that he has any problem with them.”
