Paris Saint-Germain moved to the top of the table courtesy of goals from Blaise Matuidi and Lucas Moura at the Stade Chaban-Delmas.
Matuidi bundled PSG in front with 30 minutes on the clock and then Lucas Moura sealed victory in the 64th minute.
Paris Saint-Germain are now one point ahead of Monaco, but Monaco have a game in hand.
Matuidi’s goal was the first action of note in the first half. His initial shot squirmed under the goalkeeper and the midfielder beat the goalkeeper to the ball to tap the ball in.
Lucas Moura was played in by Marco Verratti in the 64th minute and the Brazilian calmly slotted in past the wrongfooted goalkeeper.
