Assists have become a modern phenomenon since statistics and fantasy football spiralled out of control. However, as we all know, an assist is the final intentional pass played before the ball hits the back of the net. Andrea Pirlo is a master of finding the right pass, as is Arsenal’s Santi Cazorla.

They both were involved heavily in their respective side’s victories at the weekend and both provided an exquisite assist, but whose was better?
